With this case we can understand that we are in a society where we do not respect anything or anyone. We are in the 21st century and they were not able to respect a simple skin color and what happens if you are gay, they kill you. We must learn to respect everyone, each one of us deserves respect, even if your skin color is different, your religion, your culture even your sexuality.
